Important: On national holidays (15 March, 20 August, 23 October), the building is often open to the public for free, but this means long queues and no guided tours. Standard tourist visits are not possible on these days. Visits can be cancelled at any time due to official state or parliamentary events.

What are the general opening hours?
The Visitor Centre is open 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM from April to October, and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM from November to March. Tours run throughout these times.
Is the Parliament open on weekends?
Yes, the Parliament is open for tours on both Saturdays and Sundays, following the same seasonal hours as weekdays.
What is the last entry time?
The last guided tour typically starts about 45-60 minutes before the Visitor Centre closes. It is essential to book a specific time slot in advance.
Can my tour be cancelled?
Yes. As it is a working government building, tours can be cancelled at short notice for official state events. If this happens, you will be offered a refund or a chance to reschedule.
Is it open on public holidays?
The Parliament is closed for tours on most major public holidays. On the three main national holidays, it often holds free "Open Days" for the public, which are very crowded and do not include guided tours.
